Microsoft Purview Engineer (RARR Job 6063)

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Purview Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Purview (DLP), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), and Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC).

The ideal candidate will drive data governance, security, and compliance initiatives across enterprise environments, while leading implementation, optimization, and transformation programs.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Design & implement Microsoft Purview solutions (DLP, data classification, labeling, cataloging)
• Manage Information Protection, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, and data lifecycle policies
• Lead migration from legacy DLP tools to Purview
• Deploy & manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) – threat detection, incident response, EDR/XDR tuning
• Implement Defender for Cloud (MDC) – cloud security posture, risk & vulnerability management
• Integrate with Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR)
• Collaborate with SOC, Azure AD (Entra), and Infra teams
• Drive security governance, reporting, threat modeling, and mentoring

🔹 Required Skills

• Strong hands-on in Microsoft Purview (DLP, Data Catalog, Info Protection, eDiscovery)
• Experience in Microsoft 365 & Azure Security stack
• Expertise in endpoint & cloud security (MDE, MDC)
• Good understanding of data classification, policy management & automation
• Experience in enterprise security implementations & migrations
