JDE Technical Consultant (RARR Job 5838)

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Technical Consultant with a strong technical background to support implementation, enhancement, integration, and ongoing optimization of JD Edwards applications. The role involves troubleshooting, testing validation, system improvements, and mentoring customer technical teams while ensuring system stability, security, and interoperability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support JD Edwards technical solutions across the application landscape

• Participate in system-of-systems architecture development, including partitioning functionality across applications and components

• Ensure seamless application interface interoperability between JD Edwards and other systems

• Validate testing activities completed during the JD Edwards implementation lifecycle

• Perform unit testing to ensure application functionality meets business requirements and design specifications

• Troubleshoot technical and development issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend effective solutions

• Analyze issues, perform bug fixing, debugging, and troubleshooting of standard JDE programs, including NERs and C Business Functions (C BFNs)

• Recommend and implement system improvements while analyzing risk mitigation strategies

• Support JD Edwards integrations with external systems using Business Services (BSSV)

• Ensure awareness and alignment with systems management, operational support tools, and security/infrastructure considerations

• Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to customer internal JD Edwards technical teams

• Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams to ensure solution effectiveness

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Strong JD Edwards (JDE) Technical background with deep understanding of JDE architecture and components

• Experience in software development methodologies and structured system development approaches

• Proven experience with system architecture design, application partitioning, and interface interoperability

• Hands-on experience in JD Edwards implementation and support projects

• Strong skills in issue analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem resolution

• Experience working with NERs, C BFNs, and standard JDE technical components

• Good understanding of JD Edwards Business Services (BSSV) for system integration

• Ability to analyze system risks and mitigation strategies during enhancements

• Experience with testing validation and quality assurance activities
