Imperva WAF Engineer (RARR Job 6062)

We are looking for a skilled Imperva WAF Engineer to manage, deploy, and optimize Web Application Firewall solutions to safeguard web applications from evolving security threats.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and administer Imperva WAF solutions
• Manage WAF policies and rulesets aligned with OWASP Top 10
• Perform:
  • Rule tuning & false-positive reduction
  • Threat analysis & attack mitigation
  • Incident investigation
• Configure:
  • Bot Mitigation
  • Rate Limiting
  • DDoS Protection
• Enable virtual patching for vulnerabilities via WAF
• Integrate WAF with SIEM tools like Splunk and Elastic Stack
• Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD security integration
• Handle:
  • SSL/TLS configuration
  • Secure routing
  • Performance optimization
• Maintain documentation and stakeholder communication

🔹 Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Imperva WAF
• Knowledge of:
  • Web security concepts
  • Application traffic analysis
  • Threat intelligence feeds
• Experience in:
  • Log analysis
  • Automation & monitoring
• Understanding of:
  • Browser security controls
