IICS Administrator (RARR Job 6410)

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Administrator (Specialist) with 5–7 years of experience in administering, managing, and optimizing enterprise Informatica ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), and Data Privacy Management (DPM), along with experience in cloud platforms, ETL administration, performance tuning, and production support.

Job Description

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Extensive experience in administering Informatica platforms, including PowerCenter, IICS, IDQ, and DPM.
• Strong expertise in managing Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), including Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Integration Hub (CIH).
• Hands-on experience in Informatica administration activities such as installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, secure agent installation, and connection management.
• Good understanding of source control integration with Informatica Cloud using GitHub or similar version control systems.
• Ability to design, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mappings, sessions, workflows, worklets, and parameter files.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases with experience in writing and debugging SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services such as EC2, S3, Redshift, and Athena.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting and Windows Batch scripting. Exposure to Python scripting is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Informatica environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal system performance.
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance of Informatica components and Secure Agents.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support ETL processes and resolve production issues.
• Implement and maintain source control and version management for Informatica assets.
• Monitor platform health, identify performance bottlenecks, and proactively resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Participate in capacity planning, environment provisioning, and performance tuning activities.
• Support cloud integration, migration, deployment, and environment management initiatives.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, administration procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Stay current with the latest Informatica features, cloud capabilities, and industry best practices to continuously improve platform efficiency.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within defined timelines and service levels.
