HighByte Intelligence Hub Engineer (RARR Job 6411)

Role Overview
We are seeking a HighByte Intelligence Hub Engineer with strong experience in industrial data integration and IIoT architectures. The ideal candidate will design and implement real-time OT-to-IT data pipelines, enabling seamless integration of plant floor systems (PLC/SCADA) with enterprise and cloud platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using HighByte Intelligence Hub
• Integrate industrial data sources PLC, SCADA, historian systems using OPC UA, MQTT, and APIs
• Build and manage Unified Namespace UNS architectures for real-time data flow
• Perform data modeling and contextualization to standardize raw industrial data
• Implement real-time streaming pipelines to cloud platforms AzureAWSSnowflakeKafka
• Configure and manage MQTT brokers and message flows
• Ensure data quality consistency and low-latency data delivery
• Troubleshoot data ingestion connectivity and transformation issues
• Collaborate with OT IT and analytics teams for data requirements
• Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

• Hands-on experience with HighByte Intelligence Hub or similar IIoT platforms
• Strong knowledge of OPC UA, MQTT, Sparkplug B
• Experience with industrial systems: PLC, SCADA, MES, Historian
• Expertise in real-time data integration and streaming architectures
• Data modeling and data contextualization experience
• API integration RESTJSON
• Understanding of edge-to-cloud data pipelines

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Kafka  event streaming platforms
• Exposure to Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core
• Familiarity with Kepware Ignition, Litmus ThingWorx
• Knowledge of time series databases, historian systems
• ETL tools: Informatica IICS, ODI SAS DI  for downstream integration
• Scripting Python Shell
• Cloud platforms Azure  AWS  GCP
