functional tester (RARR Job 6241)

We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst to join our BBM Sales 360 team at Bosch Global Software Technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of CRM-based business applications through rigorous functional testing, close collaboration with cross-functional teams, and active participation in Agile delivery cycles.

• Design, review, and execute functional test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria
• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and developers to ensure adequate test coverage
• Log, track, and manage defects through the full defect lifecycle using JIRA
• Maintain test case traceability using JIRA Xray, linking requirements to test cases and defects
• Contribute to test planning, estimation, and test strategy documentation
• Support UAT coordination and business sign-off activities
• Execute regression testing and participate in release validation cycles
• Identify and escalate risks to test coverage or quality early in the sprint

• Functional Testing
  • 5+ years of hands-on functional testing experience in enterprise application environments
  • Strong command of SDLC, STLC, and test design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, exploratory testing)
  • Experience validating end-to-end business workflows and complex functional scenarios
  • Proven ability to write clear, reusable, and traceable test cases from requirements
• Agile Delivery
  • Solid experience working within Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery frameworks
  • Comfortable with iterative delivery, sprint-based testing, and continuous stakeholder feedback
  • Ability to manage testing priorities independently within a sprint
• Tools
  • JIRA – defect management, test tracking, and sprint visibility
  • JIRA Xray – test case management and requirements traceability (mandatory)
  • Confluence – test documentation and knowledge sharing
• Automation (Foundational)
  • Basic understanding of test automation concepts and common frameworks
  • Ability to review automated test results and contribute to automation coverage discussions
  • Exposure to any automation tool (Selenium, Playwright, or similar) is an advantage

• Prior experience testing enterprise CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
• Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools
• ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent
• Experience in a CoE or shared QA services model
