Cloud Architect (RARR Job 6299)

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, cloud migration strategies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures on Azure and GCP.
• Lead cloud transformation and migration initiatives from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
• Architect and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Design high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Establish cloud governance, security, compliance, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless cloud adoption.
• Automate deployment pipelines and operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, reliability, and cost.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and solution design workshops.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing architectures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, identity management, and cloud governance.
• Experience designing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
