Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager/Tender Specialist to manage end-to-end cybersecurity tenders and bidsacross GeM, eProcurement portals, and international bidding platforms. The role involves identifying opportunities, preparing compliant bid responses, coordinating internally, and ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tender Identification & Tracking

  • Monitor portals such as **Government e-Marketplace (GeM), CPPP, state e-tender portals, and global procurement platforms
  • Identify relevant cybersecurity opportunities (VAPT, SOC, GRC, Cloud Security, etc.)
  • Maintain a pipeline of active and upcoming tenders

2. Bid Management (End-to-End)

  • Analyze RFPs/RFQs/EOIs and understand scope, eligibility, and compliance requirements
  • Prepare bid strategy, compliance matrix, and response structure
  • Ensure all technical, commercial, and legal documents are aligned

3. Proposal Preparation

  • Draft technical proposals covering:
    • VAPT, SOC, SIEM, GRC, Cloud Security, Managed Services
  • Prepare commercial proposals in coordination with finance
  • Customize proposals based on client (Govt/PSU/International) requirements

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and review:
    • Eligibility documents
    • Certifications (ISO 27001, CERT-In, etc.)
    • Declarations, undertakings, EMD/BG requirements
  • Ensure 100% compliance with tender conditions

5. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with:
    • Sales team
    • Technical / Delivery teams
    • Finance & Legal
  • Coordinate with OEMs/partners for required documentation and support

6. Submission & Portal Handling

  • Manage bid submissions on:
    • GeM portal
    • CPPP (Central Public Procurement Portal)
    • State and international portals
  • Ensure timely submission and error-free uploads

7. Post-Bid Activities

  • Handle bid clarifications, presentations, and negotiations
  • Track bid status and follow up with authorities
  • Support contract finalization and onboarding

8. MIS & Reporting

  • Maintain tender database and bid tracker
  • Track win/loss ratio and key metrics
  • Provide regular updates to management

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Strong experience with GeM and Government e-tender portals
  • Excellent proposal writing and documentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance understanding
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
  • Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
