Azure Test Manager (RARR Job 6132)

We are seeking an experienced Azure Test Manager with strong expertise in cloud-based testing, particularly in backup, recovery, and resilience solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), operational readiness validation, and a strong understanding of Azure cloud services. This role requires the ability to challenge vendor deliverables, review operational processes, and ensure robust testing and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage testing activities within Azure cloud environments
• Drive Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) and validate operational readiness
• Review and validate runbooks, playbooks, and operational procedures
• Assess and challenge vendor testing approaches to ensure quality and completeness
• Ensure coverage of backup, recovery, and resilience scenarios
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define test strategies, plans, and reporting frameworks
• Identify risks, gaps, and areas of improvement in testing processes
• Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and quality standards
• Provide clear status reporting and communication to leadership teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience as a Test Manager in Azure cloud environments
• Hands-on expertise in Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT)
• Good understanding of Azure services and cloud operations
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and resilience testing
• Ability to review runbooks, playbooks, and operational documentation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
