Android Developer (RARR Job 6412)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and Java to build high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly Android applications. The ideal candidate should have experience converting Figma designs into pixel-perfect mobile applications, integrating Firebase services, and implementing modern architectural and design patterns such as BLoC to ensure maintainable and scalable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Convert Figma UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect Android screens.
• Integrate and manage Firebase services such as Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config.
• Implement clean architecture principles and BLoC (Business Logic Component) pattern (or similar state management architecture where applicable).
• Follow SOLID principles and industry-standard software design patterns.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and usability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality features.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow Android development best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Android application development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience converting Figma designs into Android applications.
• Experience with Firebase ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Jetpack components, and Material Design.
• Knowledge of MVVM/MVC/MVP and BLoC/Clean Architecture.
• Good understanding of software Design Patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON integration.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version control systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience publishing applications on the Google Play Store.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Unit Testing and UI Testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
