Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and Java to build high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly Android applications. The ideal candidate should have experience converting Figma designs into pixel-perfect mobile applications, integrating Firebase services, and implementing modern architectural and design patterns such as BLoC to ensure maintainable and scalable code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Convert Figma UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect Android screens.
- Integrate and manage Firebase services such as Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config.
- Implement clean architecture principles and BLoC (Business Logic Component) pattern (or similar state management architecture where applicable).
- Follow SOLID principles and industry-standard software design patterns.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and usability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow Android development best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Android application development.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Hands-on experience converting Figma designs into Android applications.
- Experience with Firebase ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Jetpack components, and Material Design.
- Knowledge of MVVM/MVC/MVP and BLoC/Clean Architecture.
- Good understanding of software Design Patterns and SOLID principles.
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON integration.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version control systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience publishing applications on the Google Play Store.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Unit Testing and UI Testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
