The IP Expert (Technical Authority Expert – IP) role is a core networking authority position responsible for advanced routing, VPN, and security across multi‑vendor IP infrastructure.

🎯 Role Overview

• Routing & Switching: Acts as the subject matter expert for MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS protocols, ensuring backbone stability and scalability.
• VPN Expertise: Designs and troubleshoots L2VPN and L3VPN solutions for enterprise and carrier networks.
• Multi‑Vendor Platforms: Works across Cisco, Nokia, and Juniper routers, integrating diverse vendor ecosystems.
• Security & Load Balancing: Implements IPsec, GRE, CGNAT, and manages load balancers (F5) to secure and optimize traffic.
• Incident Management: Provides L2/L3 troubleshooting, RCA, and escalation support for complex IP network issues.
