The IP Fixed Network Expert (Technical Authority Expert – IP Fixed Network) role is a specialist authority position in broadband and fixed-line infrastructure, combining advanced routing with fixed access technologies.

🎯 Role Overview

• Broadband Infrastructure: Acts as the subject matter expert for FTTH, XGS‑PON, and DOCSIS technologies, ensuring reliable delivery of fixed broadband services.
• Advanced Routing: Designs and troubleshoots BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and ISIS protocols to maintain backbone stability.
• VPN & Security: Implements and manages VPNs (L2/L3), IPsec, GRE, and CGNAT for secure connectivity.
• Multi‑Vendor Expertise: Works across Cisco, Nokia, Juniper, Huawei, and Ericsson routers, integrating diverse vendor ecosystems.
• Incident Management: Provides L2/L3 troubleshooting, RCA, and escalation support for complex fixed network issues.
