Job Title: Technical Authority Expert 

 JD:

• Hands‑on expertise in DWDM and SDH technologies.
• Strong L2 & L3 troubleshooting skills across multi‑vendor optical platforms (Nokia, Ciena, Huawei, Fujitsu).
• Ability to manage and optimize optical transmission systems ensuring high availability.
• Provide technical authority in incident resolution and RCA.

Roles-

• Network Authority: Acts as the subject matter expert for Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems, ensuring high availability and performance of optical backbone networks.
• Troubleshooting: Handles L2 & L3 troubleshooting across multi-vendor equipment (Nokia, Ciena, Huawei, Fujitsu), resolving complex transmission issues.
• System Integration: Works on integrating DWDM with SDH and other optical technologies, ensuring seamless interoperability.
• Vendor Management: Coordinates with multiple OEMs for upgrades, patches, and incident resolution.
• Performance Optimization: Monitors optical signal quality, capacity utilization, and implements improvements to reduce downtime.

• Maintain and troubleshoot large-scale DWDM networks.
• Provide technical authority in incident management and RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
• Ensure smooth operation of optical transmission systems supporting telecom backbone.
• Guide junior engineers and act as escalation point for critical issues.
