Job Skills

Job Description

  • Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) and Next-Generation Antivirus (NGAV) solutions across a diverse asset fleet (Windows, macOS).
  • Design, optimize, and audit critical network security controls, including Enterprise Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Secure Web Gateways (SWG), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) frameworks.
  • Implement and enforce robust preventative guardrails such as Application Whitelisting/Control, Device Control, Email Security filtering, and Network Access Control (NAC).
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to harden Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies at the network and endpoint boundaries.
  • Own the deployment, configuration, and operation of enterprise vulnerability scanning tools across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
  • Analyze vulnerability scan results and prioritize remediation efforts using threat intelligence, asset criticality, and real-world exploitability indexes.
  • Partner closely with IT Infrastructure, System Administration, and Development teams to streamline patching cycles, track remediation progress, and validate resolutions.
  • Evaluate, document, and manage formal business exceptions for vulnerabilities that cannot be immediately patched, ensuring appropriate compensating controls.
  • Serve as a Level 3 engineering escalation point during active security incidents, assisting the SOC and IR teams with deep technical analysis.
  • Analyze endpoint telemetry, memory dumps, and network logs to reconstruct threat actor movements and determine root causes.
  • Develop and deploy custom detection rules (YARA, Sigma, or EDR-specific queries) to hunt for hidden threats.
  • Translate investigation findings and discovered vulnerabilities into permanent, engineered preventative controls.
  • Qualifications:
  • Experience Requirement: 4+ years of dedicated experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, Network Security, Vulnerability Management, or a highly technical Incident Response role within an enterprise environment.
  • Communication: Collaborative communicator capable of translating complex technical vulnerabilities into clear, actionable risk summaries for non-technical business partners and IT infrastructure teams. [Assumed: Fluent English communication standard for global collaboration].
  • Endpoint Expertise: Proven track record managing enterprise-scale EDR and MDM platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon, Jamf, Intune) including rule creation and policy tuning.
  • Network Security Mastery: Deep hands-on experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls and network security tools (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Secure Client, Cisco ISE) and a strong understanding of secure network architecture, micro-segmentation, and cryptographic protocols (TLS/SSL, IPsec).
  • Vulnerability & Investigation Tooling: Experience managing vulnerability management platforms, proficiency with network analysis tools (Wireshark), and digital forensics concepts (file system analysis, registry analysis).
  • Scripting: Ability to automate security tasks, API integrations, and query data using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
