Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Requirements & Design Quality Assurance
  • Review and validate software requirements (functional and non-functional) for completeness and clarity.
  • Participate in Software Requirement Reviews (SwRR) and Software
  • Architecture & Design Reviews (SwADR) to ensure compliance with engineering standards.

 

Process & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to Engineering Golden Rules and corporate quality standards throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Verify that all engineering documents (SRS, DBDD, SDD, IDD) meet documentation control requirements.

 

Testing & Verification

  • Define and execute test strategies for unit, integration, and system-level verification.
  • Prepare and review Integration and Verification Plans (IVP) and ensure proper test coverage.
  • Conduct Software Component Readiness Reviews (SwCRR) and Software Iteration Release Reviews (SwIRR) before deployment.

 

Quality Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to software quality and report deviations.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and nonconformities.
  • Promote secure coding practices and compliance with cybersecurity and safety standards.

 

Collaboration & Support

  • Work with Software Architects (SwARC), Software Engineers (SwE), and Integration Verification Managers (SwIVM) to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Support IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation & Qualification) activities and audits.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative development practices.
  • Knowledge of secure coding standards, COTS/OSS management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with IVVQ strategies, test automation, and continuous integration tools.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in software quality assurance or software engineering roles.
