SQL Developer (NCS/Job/ 4030)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust database systems that support our business operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in writing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and triggers
Build and optimize database objects (tables, views, indexes) for performance and scalability
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across environments
Perform query tuning and performance optimization of existing SQL code
Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and DevOps to implement and maintain database solutions
Participate in schema design and data modeling discussions
Document database structures, processes, and configurations
Required Skills
Strong expertise in writing and optimizing SQL (PostgreSQL, and Oracle)
Deep understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and indexing
Experience with stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers
Familiarity with ETL tools and data transformation pipelines
Hands-on experience with database performance tuning and query optimization
Ability to read and debug complex SQL scripts
Good understanding of database security and access control mechanisms
Good understanding of PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management)

Nice to Have:
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of data warehousing and big data technologies.
- Experience with Python or Java or C# for data integration
