Position Overview:
We are looking for a 2–3 years experienced professional to support a team in a hybrid role spanning Development, QA, and Functional Testing. This person will contribute as a hands-on developer as well as a QA/functional tester, helping validate enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and support other developers across parallel project workstreams.

SAP HANA Development:
- Design and optimize HANA applications and models; develop SQL Script procedures and functions.
QA & Functional Testing:
- Create and execute functional, system, and integration test cases for HANA deliverables.
- Validate data correctness and business rules; perform data reconciliation across source and target systems.
- Document test cases, expected results, and test execution outcomes.
- Log defects with reproducible steps, collaborate with developers to triage and retest fixes.
- Support regression testing during release cycles and provide test sign-off inputs.
Data Integration:
- Implement and manage data integration using SAP SLT and SDI; ensure data quality and integrity across systems.
Cloud Integration:
- Integrate SAP HANA solutions with cloud platforms (AWS) to enhance capabilities.
Technical Support & Training:
Provide support, troubleshoot issues.
- Work with technical lead to develop technical specifications to meet functional requirements for data and analytics.
- Complete performance tuning of models and optimize the HANA environment in conjunction with respective front end BI architectures.
Cross-team & Operational Support:
- Provide testing and handoff support to other developers working on related workstreams. Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives).
- Produce and maintain technical documentation (FDS/TDS, test artifacts such as TUT/IUT).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production incidents as needed.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field; 2+ years of SAP HANA development experience; cloud technology experience is a plus.
Skills:
- Advanced expertise in SAP HANA modeling, SQL Script, SLT, and SDI; experience with cloud platforms.
- Build eHANA artifacts to meet technical specifications.
- Support and tune backend models that feed into SAP BOBJ reports, SAP AFO, Tableau, POWER BI and QLIK Dashboards.
- Create test plans and create Technical Unit Testing(TUT)/Integration Unit Testing(IUT) documents to complete unit/integration testing of technical deliverables.
- Complete/update documentation of HANA models (FDS, TDS).
- Develop and maintain technical development standards.
Nice-to-Have:
- Cloud and data engineering exposure: AWS (S3, EC2, RDS), Databricks, AWS Glue.
- Programming: Python, PySpark for data transformations and automation.
- Familiarity with BI front-ends: SAP BOBJ, SAP AFO, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik.
- Interest or exposure to AI/LLM-based tools for productivity and automation.
