Principal Engineer– Platform (DevOps & Cloud) (NCS/Job/ 3520)

Role Overview
This is a senior leadership role within the platform engineering function. The individual will be responsible for defining and driving the technical vision, architecture, and evolution of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, observability platforms, and DevSecOps practices. The role requires strong influence across teams and a platform-as-a-product mindset.

Key Skills and Experience

• 10–14 years of experience in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering

• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS (preferred), including networking, compute, IAM, and security

• Deep experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) in production environments

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform

• Proven experience designing and scaling CI/CD platforms for large engineering teams

• Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, including policy-as-code, shift-left security, and compliance automation

• Experience building and managing observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK)

• Strong architecture and system design experience

• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction
