Manual Testing (NCS/Job/ 3583)

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, integration testing, and black-box testing, with a solid understanding of both functional and non-functional testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases
• Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
• Execute black-box testing to validate system functionality against requirements
• Conduct integration testing to ensure smooth interaction between system components
• Perform functional testing to verify features, workflows, and business logic
• Carry out non-functional testing such as usability, performance, reliability, and compatibility testing
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Participate in test planning, test execution, and test reporting activities
• Ensure adherence to QA processes and standards

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Manual Testing
• Good knowledge of Integration Testing
• Hands-on experience with Black-box Testing techniques
• Solid understanding of Functional Testing
• Experience in Non-functional Testing (performance, usability, etc.)
• Ability to write clear and detailed test cases and bug reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
• Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC
