Job Description
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture and functional design for SAP SD / Order-to-Cash workstreams within large transformation programs (ECC and S/4HANA).
- Partner with business stakeholders to define and prioritize process and capability needs, aligned to business strategy and the broader IT landscape.
- Provide thought leadership on OTC process optimization, SAP SD best practices, S/4HANA fit-to-standard, and scalable solution architecture patterns.
- Support multi-country rollouts by governing the global template, gathering localization needs, validating design and process impacts, and coordinating country-specific sign-offs.
- Ensure alignment to global process standards while supporting regional compliance, controls, audit needs, and solution design governance.
- Lead large OTC enhancements and initiatives across multiple geographies, owning architecture scope, design decisions, business case inputs, and value realization measures.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams on solution options, integration architecture impacts, data requirements, and deployment planning.
- Coordinate cross-functional requirements and dependencies across SAP modules and adjacent systems, including:
- Finance (FI)
- Materials Management (MM)
- Transportation Management (TM)
- Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
- Serve as a trusted partner to business executives, product owners, IT leaders, and program sponsors to drive architecture alignment and decision-making.
- Facilitate process and design workshops, solution playback sessions, and steering updates; clearly communicate trade-offs, risks, and decisions.
- Translate business needs into scalable functional and architectural requirements, partnering with solution teams to ensure designs meet intended outcomes.
- Guide and mentor SD team and functional team members on analysis methods, design standards, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Drive continuous improvement of OTC and SD analysis and architecture artifacts, templates, and best practices across the SAP practice.
- Support delivery excellence through strong traceability (requirements-to-design-to-build-to-test), UAT planning/execution support, cutover readiness, and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications:

- 15+ years of experience in SAP OTC / SD within SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA programs (implementation and/or transformation), including lead consulting and solution architecture responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, or related discipline
- 15+ years’ experience working in a global ERP environment, partnering with both business and IT teams, and driving end-to-end SD/OTC solution design.
- Experience leading and mentoring business analysts and/or SD functional team members and guiding cross-functional teams through design reviews, requirements, and decision processes.
- Proven experience owning requirements and solution design for complex initiatives, including scope definition, traceability, integration impacts, and UAT support.
- S/4HANA experience (fit-to-standard workshops, global template/process harmonization, and migration/rollout support).
Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience directly within a large ERP systems footprint in a global, multinational environment.
- Deep hands-on SAP SD configuration and consulting experience across core OTC areas (pricing, rebates/conditions, credit management, deliveries/shipping, billing, returns, and intercompany), including leading fit-gap and design decisions.
- Proven ability to understand business needs, build strategic partnerships, and translate them into clear requirements, process designs, and implemented solutions.
- Experience working with integrations (e.g., IDocs/APIs), including defining interface requirements, integration patterns, and validating end-to-end outcomes.
- Experience managing relationships with 3rd party vendors and teams.
- Able to successfully manage core responsibilities independently or with limited over-sight
