Java Backend Developer (NCS/Job/ 4067)

•        10+ years of experience in software development with strong focus on hands-on development •        Strong proficiency in Java (Java 21+) with frameworks such as Spring Boot / Quarkus •        At least 2 years of relevant experience with functional programming, reactive architecture and non-blocking I/O •        Experience building microservices architectures and distributed systems •        Hands-on experience with REST APIs, gRPC, event-driven systems, and messaging (Kafka / MQ) •        Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) •        Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices •        Good exposure to database technologies (PostgreSQL / NoSQL) •        Understanding of security best practices in backend systems (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS) •        Experience with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) •        Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams   It would be great if you also had…  · Experience working in blockchain / distributed ledger platforms (e.g., Canton) · Exposure to API management platforms (e.g., Apigee) · Familiarity with resilience patterns (circuit breaker, bulkhead, retry mechanisms) · Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) or automation tooling · Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure SDLC · Experience in regulated environments with compliance and audit awareness
