Number of Position 1 roles
Location Onsite, Bangalore, India (5 days a week)
Work Timing 24/7 rotation.
Experience 6-8 Years
Expected Date of Joining 4 - 6 weeks (Please plan accordingly)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and innovative IT Operations Analyst to join our Operations SWARM team supporting global enterprise IT operations. This role is responsible for monitoring critical infrastructure, responding to incidents, troubleshooting operational issues, and partnering with internal teams and third-party service providers to maintain high availability and exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, and thrives in a 24x7 operational support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support enterprise infrastructure including networking, compute, storage, security, and collaboration platforms.
- Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation to restore services quickly.
- Collaborate with vendors and support teams during planned activities and unplanned outages.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for enterprise LAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, and hosting environments.
- Monitor application workloads and perform job scheduling, restarts, and operational support activities.
- Document, track, and manage incidents, platform issues, and operational concerns.
- Follow established Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Participate in a rotational 24x7 support model, including weekend coverage.
- Escalate issues appropriately and drive resolution through to completion.
- Continuously identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong foundational knowledge of networking, infrastructure, hosting, or systems administration.
- Understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Experience working with ticketing and incident management platforms such as ServiceNow.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work in a rotational 24x7 support environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as LogicMonitor, Grafana, Meraki, SolarWinds, or similar.
- Experience supporting enterprise networking environments including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, and Datacenter technologies.
- Experience with VMware, AWS Cloud, or other virtualization and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python and Ansible.
- Experience supporting large enterprise environments or managed service providers (MSP).
- Strong automation mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and reliability.
