Senior Salesforce Developer + CPQ Developer

JD Below:

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions and a strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing CPQ solutions to enhance pricing, quoting, and sales operations for business banking products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities – Salesforce Developer

  • Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative features
  • Implement Salesforce configurations including custom objects, flows, workflows, validation rules, and approvals
  • Build and maintain secure and scalable data models (Profiles, Permission Sets, OWDs, Sharing Rules, Role Hierarchy)
  • Develop integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and JSON
  • Ensure high code quality, performance, and test coverage, complying with Salesforce governor limits
  • Support deployments and CI/CD using Change Sets, Git-based tools, or DevOps pipelines
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum delivery
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and technical governance
  • Provide production support and perform root cause analysis when required

 

Key Responsibilities - CPQ Developer

·         Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce CPQ solutions tailored to business banking requirements.

·         Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for complex pricing, quoting, and approval workflows.

·         Configure and customize product catalogs, pricing rules, discount schedules, and approval processes within Salesforce CPQ.

·         Develop and maintain advanced CPQ features such as guided selling, product bundles, and contract management.

·         Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other banking systems (e.g., core banking, CRM, ERP) via APIs and middleware as needed.

·         Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers on Salesforce best practices.

·         Ensure compliance with banking and data security regulations in all CPQ solution designs and implementations.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CPQ functionality, data integrity, and system integrations.

·         Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture, configuration guides, and test cases.

·         Support release management, deployments, and post-implementation support activities.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

·         5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platform development, including at least 3 years with Salesforce CPQ implementation and customization.

·         Strong understanding of business banking products, processes, and regulatory landscape.

·         Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs).

·         Experience with data migration, Salesforce DX, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

·         Demonstrated experience integrating Salesforce with external systems in a banking environment is a plus.

·         Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

·         Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

·         Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements specific to banking and financial services.

·         Familiarity with additional Salesforce modules such as Financial Services Cloud is a plus.

·         Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and quality.
