Job Description – Supply Chain Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Analyst with strong expertise in supply chain planning data structures and advanced SQL capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing planning data models that support demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, replenishment, and exception management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable planning data models for:
  • Demand Planning
  • Supply Planning
  • Inventory Planning
  • Replenishment Planning
  • Exception Management
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, planners, and analytics teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations for reporting and analytics.
• Build and maintain data pipelines supporting supply chain planning applications and reporting platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across planning systems.
• Analyze planning data and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Support integration of planning data models with ERP, SCM, and analytics platforms.
• Create documentation for data models, business rules, and technical processes.
• Troubleshoot data issues and provide ongoing production support.

Good to Have

• Experience with ERP/SCM platforms such as SAP APO, SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
• Knowledge of ETL/Data Integration processes.
• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning data modeling and SQL development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting enterprise planning and analytics initiatives.
• Understanding of forecasting, inventory optimization, and replenishment strategies.
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
