Lead Engineer – Boomi Integration

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer – Boomi Integration with strong expertise in Dell Boomi, EDI, and B2B Integration solutions. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise integration solutions while mentoring developers and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Dell Boomi.
• Lead the implementation of Boomi Integration processes across cloud and on-premises applications.
• Develop and support EDI/B2B integration solutions using standards such as EDIFACT, and communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, and FTP.
• Configure and manage trading partner integrations and EDI document processing.
• Build and maintain integrations with enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, and other business systems.
• Design reusable integration components, APIs, and connectors following integration best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver integration solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce development standards.
• Monitor integration performance and optimize processes for scalability and reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational support documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, release planning, and production deployments.

Required Skills

• years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Dell Boomi.
• Strong experience in designing and developing Boomi Integration processes.
• Hands-on experience with EDI and B2B Integration implementations.
• Expertise in EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, and flat file processing.
• Experience with communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTP/S, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of API integrations and integration architecture.
• Experience with Boomi connectors for ERP, CRM, and cloud applications.
• Understanding of integration patterns, error handling, security, and performance tuning.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Dell Boomi Professional or Advanced certification.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with DevOps tools and automated deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and best practices.
