Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and JIRA to ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test automation, defect tracking, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Primary skills: Selenium, Java, TestNG & Framework, CICD, SQL, Programming & Logical, debugging skills, structured approach
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Analyze requirements and prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Execute test cases and identify, log, and track defects using JIRA
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and resolve issues
Participate in test reviews, defect triage meetings, and release validations
Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices
Support UAT and provide test reports and metrics
Required Skills:
5–9 years of experience in Software Testing
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium Automation
Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and test management
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
Experience in manual and automation testing
Knowledge of test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit) is a plus
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) is an advantage
Experience in API testing (Postman / RestAssured)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Exposure to performance testing tools is a plus
