AS 400 (NCS/Job/ 2612)

• 5+ years demonstrated application development management experience in an ERP environment iSeries (AS400)
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products
• Strong technical knowledge of IBM i (AS400), RPG, CLP, SQL and DB2/400
• Working technical knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standards, including IBM iSeries systems and interfaces
• Extensive experience with core software applications, including iSeries security and Operating Systems up to and including IBM i v7.4
• Excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills and experience in large IBM i on Power Systems (iSeries, AS/400) environments is key
• Strong knowledge and experience with the data replication tools (e.g. Vision Solutions MIMIX, OMS/ODS, etc.)
• Familiarity with 3rd Party vendor utilities
• Ability to interact with all different levels of personnel within the organization
• Results-oriented professional who is a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
• Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
