About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and manage a high-performing team of inside sales executives. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic planning and execution. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can track team performance, provide targeted coaching, and foster a performance-driven culture. You will be a key player in ensuring the team meets and exceeds ambitious sales targets.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inside sales executives, driving them to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through strategic planning and execution.
- Performance Management: Track team performance, monitor sales KPIs, and implement coaching interventions where needed.
- Sales Execution: Manage end-to-end sales processes, including pitching, negotiation, and final closures.
- Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to improve funnel efficiency.
- Culture: Create a performance-driven culture and ensure continuous skill development within the team.
Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A Graduate degree is the minimum qualification.
- Overall Experience: A minimum of 4 years of overall experience.
- EdTech Experience: At least 2 years in EdTech sales and a minimum of 1.5 years in a managerial role within the EdTech sector (experience must be recent, within the 2021–2025 window).
- Team Handling: 1–3 years of prior team handling experience is mandatory.
- Sales Focus: Must have experience selling high-ticket courses (₹1.5 Lakhs+ ticket size) to Working Professionals (degree/long-term programs).
- Stability & Gap: Strong managerial track record with clear, stable tenure. No career gap is allowed between 2020–2025; any gap must not exceed 6 months.
- Skills: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team. Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are a must.
- Industry Preference: Candidates from B2B, B2C, EdTech, & IT Sales are preferred. (Candidates from K-12 backgrounds will not be considered.)
