We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead growth initiatives across a defined territory. This is a high‑impact leadership role where you will manage a team of 12–15 School Account Managers (SAMs) and take full ownership of business outcomes. Your mission: ensure every school thrives through strategic planning, flawless execution, and measurable success in marketing, sales, and student services.

Core Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 12–15 SAMs.
    • Conduct daily check‑ins, performance reviews, and field visits to drive accountability and productivity.
    • Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic School Planning

    • Design monthly business plans for each school covering marketing, sales, and service activities.
    • Align plans with organisational goals and ensure measurable outcomes.
  • Execution Excellence

    • Monitor on‑ground activities rigorously to ensure flawless execution.
    • Identify gaps quickly and implement corrective actions.
    • Drive operational efficiency and ensure every initiative delivers results.
  • Business Ownership

    • Take end‑to‑end responsibility for territory performance.
    • Achieve new student enrollment targets and ensure monthly renewals.
    • Maximise profitability and ensure sustainable growth for each school.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve monthly enrollment and renewal targets.
  • School Profitability: Maintain high conversion rates and efficient operations.
  • Team Success: Ensure a majority of SAMs consistently meet or exceed their individual business goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Leadership: 3–5 years of sales experience with at least 1 year managing a team of 10+ people.
  • EdTech Advantage: Prior experience in the education technology sector is preferred.
  • Execution‑Driven: Hands‑on leader who thrives in fieldwork and leads by example.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to track metrics, analyse data, and drive performance improvements.
  • Growth Orientation: Passion for scaling operations and building long‑term success stories.
