SOX IT Senior Auditor (Hea Job/ 347)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and lead IT SOX walkthroughs.
• Plan and perform ITGC control testing; lead efforts to identify the root cause of deficiencies and assist the IT SOX Compliance Manager with finalizing the remediation approach; perform remediation testing as needed.
• Maintain and update ITGC controls and applicable control information within the Auditboard (now Optro) tool throughout the year.
• Assist the IT SOX Compliance Manager with risk assessments, in-scope systems analysis, and coordination of the testing approach.
• Partner and coordinate with external auditors to provide control information or documentation support as needed.  Ensure adherence to external auditor minimum sampling guidelines to maximize reliance on the work of internal audit.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience planning and executing IT SOX testing (some Big 4 or national accounting/consulting firm experience preferred).
• Proficient in understanding of ITGC’s: access controls, change management controls, data integrity controls, and computer operations controls.
• Understanding of UNIX/Windows platforms and Oracle and MS SQL databases.
• Understanding of SOX, AICPA, COSO, COBIT, and SSAE attestation standards.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Experience with using Auditboard (now Optro). (Preferred)
• CISA or other relevant additional professional qualifications. (Preferred)

Understanding of data automation tools; ability to write/update code in Python.
