Job Description

This role leads thermal modelling, CFD simulation, and validation for electric motors and motor controllers, working closely with mechanical, electrical, and testing teams to design reliable thermal management solutions that ensure performance and system durability across operating conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform steady-state and transient thermal simulations across duty cycles and operating conditions.
Evaluate temperature distribution, heat dissipation paths, and thermal operating limits.
Design air-cooled and liquid-cooled thermal management solutions.
Conduct CFD simulations using ANSYS Fluent and ANSYS Icepak.
Correlate simulation outputs with experimental thermal test data.
Execute thermal test plans for motors with integrated cooling systems.
Document simulation methodologies, assumptions, and thermal design recommendations.

Must Have's

2–5 years experience in thermal modelling and simulation
