Job Description
This role leads process engineering for motor and powertrain assembly lines, owning process design, automation, and quality improvement.
The engineer works with suppliers and internal teams to improve line efficiency, ensure compliance with automotive standards, and hand over robust manufacturing processes to operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead process engineering activities for motor and powertrain assembly lines.

Design and validate manufacturing processes with complete documentation.

Optimize line efficiency and reduce rejections through process improvements.

Develop RFQs, machine specifications, and evaluation matrices for automation suppliers.

Define assembly routing, methods, cycle time, and takt time.

Execute motor line automation projects from RFQ to operational handover.
Must Have's
-
4–6 years experience in process engineering within manufacturing environments

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or equivalent engineering

Hands-on experience with PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow Diagrams

Knowledge of SPC, MSA, Cp, Cpk, Pp, and Ppk analysis

Experience with automation techniques and industrial engineering methods

Understanding of PMSM motors and motor controllers

Ability to develop machine specifications, RFQs, and process documentation
