Role Overview:
The Vice President – Information Technology is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the organization’s IT strategy. This role oversees enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and OT security to ensure resilience, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The VP – IT will play a critical role in enabling business growth through secure, scalable, and future-ready technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
• Define and execute IT strategy aligned with organizational and business objectives
• Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation and modernization initiatives
IT Infrastructure & Operations:
• Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure including data centers, networks, and cloud platforms
• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and resilience of systems
• Drive standardization, automation, and optimization of IT operations
Cybersecurity & OT Security:
• Design and implement cybersecurity governance, policies, and frameworks
• Lead risk management, threat detection, and incident response programs
• Secure OT environments including industrial control systems and IoT platforms
Governance & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)
• Lead internal and external audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing IT leadership team
• Drive collaboration across business, operations, and technology functions
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and technology partnerships
• Present IT strategy, risks, and progress to senior leadership and the Board
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Deep expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and OT security
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise architecture
• Proven experience leading large-scale IT operations and transformation programs
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
Preferred Certifications:
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications
• ITIL, PMP, or equivalent IT service / project management certifications
