Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager / Associate Director – Operations to lead end-to-end operations, ensure seamless customer delivery, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale operations, building high-performing teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering business objectives while improving profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Execute and achieve operational targets aligned with customer deliverables.
- Ensure timely and high-quality project execution while meeting SLAs and business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions where required.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Ensure timely invoice clearances by coordinating with customers and internal teams.
- Identify account growth opportunities through solution development and account mining initiatives.
- Act as the primary escalation point for operational and customer issues.
Process Excellence
- Evaluate adherence to operational processes and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement process enhancements to improve delivery efficiency.
- Drive engineering and operational initiatives in collaboration with Assistant Managers.
- Ensure standardization of operational practices across teams.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Managers and Field Executives.
- Conduct regular training on reporting standards, customer relationship management, and operational best practices.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Financial & Business Performance
- Prepare and manage delivery budgets.
- Monitor cost variances and implement cost optimization initiatives.
- Develop customer-wise MIS reports for leadership review.
- Analyze customer profitability and implement at least two improvement initiatives every quarter.
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare operational dashboards and management reports.
- Track KPIs, customer satisfaction, and profitability metrics.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and quality standards.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience managing large-scale operations.
- Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proven experience in team building and people management.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in business development or sales support.
- Exposure to operational excellence, process improvement, or Lean initiatives.
- Experience handling P&L, budgeting, and customer profitability analysis.
