Job summary:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities within a designated geographical region. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and achieving sales targets to ensure revenue growth and market expansion. The Regional Sales Manager plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction, optimizing sales processes, and fostering a collaborative environment to support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.

Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns and materials tailored to the region.

Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities within the assigned region.

Manage a pipeline of prospective clients and ensure regular follow-up and relationship-building efforts.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics and stay competitive.

Provide regular reports on regional sales performance, market conditions, and forecasts to upper management.

Track and improve the efficiency of sales operations and customer acquisition processes.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners within the region.

Resolve client concerns and escalate issues to senior management as needed.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty to promote repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Identify potential areas for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts.

Foster effective communication between the regional sales team, other departments (e.g., marketing, product development, customer service), and senior management.

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings as needed to build brand presence and generate new leads.

Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and trends.

Review and analyze sales data to improve regional performance and uncover new growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in engineering. MBA - Added advantage

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales, with knowledge in IOT and Digital Transformation.

Should be willing to travel extensively.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Proficiency in CRM software (Zohocrm/Salesforce/HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
