Job Description

We are looking for a senior Legal & Regulatory professional to lead legal, regulatory, and compliance activities for our Broadband business. The role involves close coordination with business, finance, government authorities, and external counsels.

Key Responsibilities :

Agreements & Commercial Documentation

• Drafting, reviewing, and vetting agreements (MoUs, LOIs, term sheets, license/IPR agreements).

• Preparing standard agreements for broadband business.

• Supporting business teams during commercial negotiations.

• Managing online and physical execution of agreements.

• Maintaining legal MIS and agreement trackers.

Regulatory Reporting (DoT & TRAI)

• Monthly subscriber and data usage reports.

• Quarterly PMR filings (including Annexure-II).

• Half-yearly DoT returns for trusted telecom sources.

• Coordination and timely uploads on regulatory portals.

License Fee, AGR & Bank Guarantees

• Processing AGR/license fee payments and SARAS filings.

• Preparing annual/quarterly returns with Finance and Auditors.

• Handling demand notices and representations (including TDSAT matters).

• Managing bank guarantee submissions and trackers.

MIB Compliance

• Managing renewals and changes through Broadcast Seva Portal.

• Payment of annual renewal fees.

General Legal Support

• Board-level updates on DoT/AGR matters.

• Processing legal invoices and maintaining payment trackers.

• Advising business and cross-functional teams on legal issues.

Candidate Profile

• LLB/LLM from a reputed institution.

• Strong experience in Telecom / Broadband / Regulatory Legal roles

• Proven expertise in litigation management and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
