We are seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, cloud data platforms, and ETL/ELT processes, with a focus on Snowflake. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and other cloud-based data platforms.
Develop and optimize Snowflake data models, schemas, and stored procedures.
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Integrate data from various sources including APIs, flat files, and third-party systems.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in Snowflake and related data pipelines.
Automate data workflows and implement CI/CD practices for data engineering.
Maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

8+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning and advanced SQL.
Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Informatica).
Experience with Azure cloud platforms.
Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data governance.
Proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
