Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow SecOps professional with strong hands-on expertise in Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end implementation, enhancement, integration, automation, and operational support for SecOps workflows as part of our security platform roadmap.
📌 Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Configuration

Design, develop, configure, and deploy ServiceNow SecOps solutions focused on SIR and VR modules.

Customize workflows, forms, business rules, UI actions, and automation to support incident lifecycle and vulnerability remediation.

Implement playbooks and orchestration using Flow Designer or SOAR capabilities to automate responses and escalation logic.
Scripting & Integrations

Develop and maintain scripts (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Client Scripts).

Build and manage integrations with third-party security tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Splunk, CrowdStrike, SIEMs and others via REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
Security Operations Enablement

Translate security requirements into technical solutions supporting incident response and vulnerability remediation processes.

Collaborate with Security, SOC, ITSM, Risk & Compliance teams for requirement gathering, solution design, and deployment.

Integrate threat intelligence feeds and ensure enrichment of incident and vulnerability data.
Testing, Support & Governance

Conduct system, integration, and UAT testing; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices, performance standards, and platform governance.

Maintain documentation (solution designs, runbooks, configuration guides).
Leadership / Advisory (For Senior Roles)

Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership in design workshops and stakeholder meetings.

Advise on platform strategy, future enhancements, and security maturity improvements.
📌 Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
-
5–15 years in ServiceNow platform development, including significant exposure to SecOps.

Strong hands-on experience with Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules.

Strong JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP experience for integrations and customizations.

Experience with automation (Flow Designer, orchestration playbooks) and SOAR processes.

Integration experience with security tools (Qualys, Tenable, Splunk, CrowdStrike, SIEM/SOAR).

Familiarity with CMDB, ITSM, ITIL, and security workflows.
Soft Skills

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and manage multiple priorities.
