ServiceNow App Engine Developer (RARR Job 5944)

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow App Engine Developer to design, develop, and implement custom applications on the ServiceNow App Engine platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scoped applications, automating workflows, and integrating ServiceNow with external systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine

• Build and configure tables, forms, workflows, and business rules

• Develop Flow Designer flows, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and ACLs

• Create integrations using REST/SOAP APIs

• Implement ServiceNow best practices in application design and security

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements

• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and deployment using update sets or CI/CD pipelines

• Maintain technical documentation and provide production support

Required Skills

• Strong experience with the ServiceNow Platform

• Hands-on expertise in ServiceNow App Engine

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting

• Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub

• Knowledge of ServiceNow data model and CMDB concepts

• Experience with REST integrations

• Understanding of Agile methodology

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• Experience with scoped applications and domain separation

• Exposure to ITSM, HRSD, or CSM modules

• Knowledge of CI/CD in ServiceNow

Nice to Have

• Experience with Service Portal or UI Builder

• Knowledge of Performance Analytics

• Exposure to enterprise architecture and security compliance standards
