ServiceNow Custom Apps Developer (RARR Job 5986)

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Custom Application Development Specialist with 5–7 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing customized applications on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow development and a solid understanding of platform capabilities to build scalable, high-quality solutions tailored to business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom applications on the ServiceNow platform aligned with business requirements.

• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Develop and maintain workflows, Flow Designer components, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and integrations.

• Perform code reviews, unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Integrate custom applications with existing ServiceNow modules and third-party systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom applications with minimal business disruption.

• Mentor junior developers and guide them on ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.

• Document application architecture, configurations, and development processes for audit and future reference.

• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends to enhance solution capabilities.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Custom Application Development.

• Proficiency in:

  • JavaScript

  • Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies

  • Flow Designer & Workflows

  • Script Includes

  • ACLs

  • REST/SOAP Integrations

• Experience with ServiceNow platform architecture and data model.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and ServiceNow development best practices.

Preferred / Good to Have

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• Experience working in Agile environments
