Senior Azure Data Engineer (MS Dynamics) (RARR Job 5376)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute data migration activities to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand source systems and mapping requirements.
• Ensure data quality and validation during migration cycles (mock loads, testing, cutovers).
• Develop and maintain data integration solutions between Dynamics 365 and external systems.
• Manage data-related issues, troubleshooting errors, and providing resolution during and post-migration.
• Document migration processes, data mappings, and integration architecture.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), particularly in data migration and data entities for at least 2+ projects.
• Strong experience in Azure Data Engineering, including tools such as:
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure SQL / Synapse Analytics
  • Azure Blob Storage
  • Azure DevOps
  • Power Apps and Power Automate
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data transformation logic, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Data Management Framework (DMF) in Dynamics 365.
• Experience working with source systems like legacy ERPs, Yardi, SAP, or MRI is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Lead the team by giving the required technical and functional knowledge
• Demonstrate Customer Focus, active listening and consultative approach
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineering and/or Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Experience in Agile project delivery and familiarity with DevOps pipelines.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
