Scrum Master (RARR Job 5908)

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong exposure to the banking domain to support Agile delivery across banking programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring Agile best practices are followed while meeting banking compliance and regulatory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

• Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, values, and practices within banking environments

• Remove impediments and proactively manage dependencies to ensure smooth sprint execution

• Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized product backlog

• Ensure Agile delivery aligns with banking regulations, risk, audit, and compliance standards

• Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down, burn-up, and sprint progress

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business, IT, risk, and compliance stakeholders

• Support Agile transformation initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement

• Assist teams in adopting SAFe / scaled Agile practices where applicable

• Ensure transparency and timely communication across all stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of overall experience with proven hands-on experience as a Scrum Master

• Mandatory experience in Banking / BFSI domain

• Strong knowledge of Scrum framework and Agile methodologies

• Experience working in regulated environments with audit and compliance considerations

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple Agile teams and dependencies

• Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams

• Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)

• Exposure to SAFe / Scaled Agile Framework

• Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Rally

• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices in banking technology landscapes

• Experience in core banking, digital banking, payments, or regulatory programs
