SAP MDG Technical Consultant (RARR Job 6392)

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and SAP ABAP. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in at least 3 end-to-end SAP MDG implementations, covering solution design, development, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support. The role requires expertise in extending the MDG data model, workflow configuration, integrations, and custom developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP MDG Technical implementation projects from requirement gathering through Go-Live and support.
• Design and develop SAP MDG solutions for Customer, Supplier, Business Partner, and Finance master data (GL, Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders).
• Work on Customer-Vendor Integration (CVI), data modelling, process modelling, UI modelling, enrichment framework, and replication.
• Extend standard MDG data models with custom entities and attributes.
• Develop and enhance UI, validations, derivations, access classes, and duplicate check functionality.
• Configure and implement Data Import & Replication Framework using IDocs, Web Services, and other integration methods.
• Develop custom solutions using ABAP OO, Web Dynpro, Floorplan Manager (FPM), and custom reports.
• Configure rule-based workflows and workflow BAdIs.
• Participate in business workshops, requirement gathering, solution design, testing, cutover, and production support.
• Prepare technical documentation, configuration documents, and user training materials.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Global Process Owners (GPOs), and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver scalable MDG solutions.

• Experience leading implementation, cutover, Go-Live, and production support.
• Strong client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
