SAP BASIS (DB Admin) Consultant (RARR Job 5224)

SAP Basis Consultant with strong Database Administration skills to provide Level 3 (L3) support for our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience managing SAP Basis components and supporting underlying databases (HANA, Oracle, or other SAP-supported DBs). You will be responsible for high-level troubleshooting, system upgrades, performance tuning, and ensuring availability, reliability, and security of the SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support for SAP Basis and database-related incidents and performance issues.
• Manage SAP system administration, including installations, upgrades, patches, and system copies across SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
• Perform database administration tasks (primarily HANA, Oracle, or SQL) including backups, restores, tuning, and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and capacity, recommending and implementing improvements.
• Administer and maintain SAP security, roles, and authorizations in coordination with the security team.
• Perform SAP kernel upgrades, OSS note implementation, and system refreshes.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams for seamless operations.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Document system architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide on-call support as part of a rotational schedule.
