The roles and responsibilities of an RPA Developer include designing, developing, and Code Reviewing, ensuring that development best practices are followed, and implementing innovative RPA systems.
RPA refers to an advanced automation technology that is designed to enhance business productivity and maximise efficiency.
Key Deliverables (Key Result Areas):
1. On-time Delivery
2. Quality check/Code review
3. Documentation and Knowledge Management
4. Best practices shared and followed
Key Responsibilities:
1. On-time Delivery.
a) Contribute to BA in preparation of design document and sign off with client (R- BA, C- RPA D)
b) Development process of the automation
c) Drive the Unit testing to ensure the code quality
d) prepare sample cases
e) test it as per the SIT developer- cases can be developed by RPA Dev
f) UAT along with business acceptance
g) Contribute with BA in signoff
2. Quality check/Code review
a) Reviewing the code for adherence to established style guides and best practices
b) Verifying that the code meets the specified requirements and functional specifications
c) Assessing the code for potential performance bottlenecks and suggesting optimizations to improve efficiency
d) Identifying potential security vulnerabilities or weaknesses in the code
e) Evaluating the codebase for its maintainability and scalability
f) Assessing the code for opportunities to improve maintainability and reusability
3. Documentation and knowledge management
a) actively participate in daily stand-ups- to track the tasks completed, plan for the current day, highlight the risks, and project delivery
