Python FullStack Gen AI Specialist (RARR Job 5316)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain interactive web applications using Python and the Streamlit framework that interface with GEN LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Cohere, AI21 Labs).
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for interacting with LLM-powered features, such as text generation, summarization, translation, question answering, and other generative AI tasks.
• Optimize application performance and scalability to handle varying levels of user interaction and API requests.
• Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms to ensure application stability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, research) to define application requirements and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for LLM application development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) developing Python applications
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating with third-party APIs.
• Demonstrable experience interacting with GEN LLM APIs and building applications that leverage their capabilities.
• Familiarity with different LLM prompting techniques and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
