Project Manager (RARR Job 5826)

1. Project Management and Delivery

• Define priorities and scope; ensure on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans; manage resources, schedules, and budgets.

• Proven experience in driving project change initiatives.

• Ensure projects align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

2. Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and ensure smooth project execution.

• Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.

3. Governance and Compliance

• Experience working in regulated environments with exposure to global regulatory requirements, including GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.

• Implement robust governance practices to manage risks and ensure compliance.

4. Team Coordination and Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams and work alongside project managers, control owners, business analysts, and technical specialists.

• Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.

• Proven track record of working with technical, cybersecurity, and/or operations teams.

• Lead geographically dispersed teams and align them to achieve common objectives.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5. Process Improvement

• Continuously evaluate processes and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and security.

• Develop and implement best practices for project delivery.

6. Risk and Issue Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proactively manage issues and dependencies to avoid project delays.

7. Documentation

• Create and maintain project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure documentation, including but not limited to:

  • Project charter

  • Project plan

  • Status reports

  • Performance reports

  • Project closeout report

Must-Have Qualifications

1. Experience

• Minimum of 7–10 years of project management experience.

2. Project Management Skills

• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.

• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.

• Proactive attitude toward delivery.

• Go-getter mindset with the ability to contribute meaningfully to discussions.

• Ability to adapt to technology and confidently engage in technical discussions.

• Strong presentation skills with the ability to challenge constructively when needed.

• Support PoC/Pilot testing with application owners to adopt open-standards-based authentication protocols.

• Work with Architecture teams on production infrastructure design.

3. Education and Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).

4. Technical Expertise

• Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.

• Technical understanding of authentication protocols such as Kerberos, LDAP, SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.

• Ability to hold technical discussions explaining overviews and benefits of each authentication protocol.

• Previous experience working with applications/platforms to adopt authentication protocols with Identity Providers such as AD or Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.

• Ability to analyze, review, and adapt to different technologies.

Good-to-Have Qualifications

1. Banking Domain Expertise

• Understanding of banking operations, core banking systems, and payment platforms.

• Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as NIST or COBIT.

2. Technical Expertise

• Good knowledge and understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies.

• Good knowledge and understanding of FIDO-based authentication.

• Experience working with global teams.
