Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Project In Charge to oversee all site activities for our solar plant projects, including civil, electrical, Balance of System, and management works. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in solar plant projects and will be responsible for ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and Balance of systems, including:
- PV arrays and mounting structures
- Inverters and electrical balance of system (EBOS)
- Electrical infrastructure, such as substations and transmission lines
- Control systems and SCADA
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, such as IEC and IEEE
- Manage and coordinate site staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure project timelines are met
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure project completion
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in solar plant projects, with a focus on electrical and BOS systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and solar plant design
- Experience with project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with solar plant design and construction, including PVsyst and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards, such as OSHA and IEC
- Experience with commissioning and testing of solar plant systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
