Data Engineer Power BI Developer (RARR Job 6032)

Responsibilities

• Design and build enterprise semantic models using star schema and Fabric components (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2).
• Develop advanced DAX, optimized datasets, and high‑quality dashboards for business stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (dynamic/static) and Object-Level Security.
• Set up and manage CI/CD deployment pipelines across Dev–Test–Prod.
• Enforce BI governance standards, naming conventions, workspace architecture, and performance optimization.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Power BI experience with strong DAX, Power Query, SQL, and Fabric knowledge.
• Deep understanding of RLS/OLS, permissions, and security propagation.
• Experience with Fabric CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and Git integration.
• Strong grasp of Lakehouse architecture, Delta tables, and semantic modelling.

Nice to Have

• DP‑600 / PL‑300 certifications.
• Experience with Azure (ADLS, ADF, Synapse) or Python/PySpark.
