Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Power Automate Desktop (PAD) Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using Microsoft Power Automate Desktop. The ideal candidate should have experience in the complete automation lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, code reviews, deployment, hypercare, and production support while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Development
- Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate Desktop.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and contribute to solution design documentation.
- Build scalable, reusable, and high-quality automation workflows.
- Perform unit testing, prepare test cases, and support SIT/UAT activities.
- Provide post-production hypercare support and ensure smooth transition to the support team.
- Quality & Code Review
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Verify that automation solutions meet business and functional requirements.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization techniques.
- Ensure security, maintainability, scalability, and reusability of automation code.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories.
- Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance and consultancy to junior developers.
- Resolve technical blockers during Agile/Scrum execution.
- Share automation best practices and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- On-time delivery of automation projects.
- High-quality, maintainable, and scalable automation solutions.
- Comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Adherence to coding standards, governance, and best practices.
- Successful handover to production support with minimal post-go-live issues.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate Desktop.
- Experience with attended and unattended automation.
- Knowledge of Power Automate Cloud Flows.
- Experience with Excel, Web, Desktop, File System, PDF, Outlook, and Windows automation.
- Understanding of REST APIs, SQL, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 integration.
- Strong debugging, exception handling, and logging skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
